The Quality Auditor is critical in ensuring all procedures and client-specific specifications are being followed and verified.  This job requires high attention to detail and the ability to learn, retain, and relay to all associates USPS and SourceLink regulations.  Professional level communication with shift supervisors to address and correct any quality issues is vital to the success of this role.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspecting work performed in both Digital Print and Lettershop
  • Providing feedback to employees and supervisors on quality audit checks
  • Reporting all quality problems found during inspections into the Quality Issues log in DirectLink
  • Reviews the Mail Today List and production schedule to see what is being printed and mailed daily
  • Reviews the Open Reprint Report checking for incomplete drops
  • Audits QC inspections verifying for accuracy and thoroughness and notifies operations staff according to procedures.
  • Responsible for the verification of all mail drops
  • Responsible for the verification and submission of reprints for 100% accountable jobs
  • Monitors all production paperwork for completeness
  • Signals the drop is complete using the drop tracking system
  • Perform other duties, as necessary

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment:  This job operates in both a professional office and production/warehouse environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.  While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to dust/airborne particles. The noise level for this work environment is usually moderate.  Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach with arms and hands.
  • Must be able to lift trays weighing up to 40 pounds, and push or pull containers weighing up to 500 pounds on a wheeled device.
  • Visual acuity required for PC work; reading of materials and for performing visual/physical quality inspections.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Position requires a High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Successfully pass the USPS MPQC exam within first 6 months

Security Clearance:  SourceLink is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
